At AppointmentReminders.com, we are always improving our tools so you can communicate clearly, professionally, and efficiently with your customers. Our newly enhanced Image Uploader lets you easily upload and manage images that you can include in your email reminders using the same text blocks where you write your message content.
Images can help reinforce branding, add clarity, and make your reminders more effective. Combined with custom text blocks that support HTML, you now have a flexible way to build visually rich reminders.
What You Can Upload
The Image Uploader accepts common web-friendly image file formats:
GIF
JPG
PNG
These formats render correctly in email clients and are ideal for use in your reminder content.
How to Upload Images
To upload images:
Go to Files & Short URLs → Image Files in your AppointmentReminders.com dashboard.
Click Select Files to choose an image from your device.
Click Upload.
After upload, each image will show:
The filename
The direct URL you can use in messages
A preview
An option to create a shortened URL if desired
You can keep a library of images here and reference them in email reminders whenever you need them.
How to Add Text Blocks (and Use HTML)
AppointmentReminders.com uses text blocks to build the content of your reminders. Text blocks allow you to:
Insert your own custom text
Include HTML code (such as
<img>tags)Create reusable message components
You can add or edit text blocks from the Text Blocks page in your dashboard and then reference them within reminder types where email content is defined. This lets you combine text and HTML in any layout you choose.
How to Insert Images Into Your Email Reminders
Because text blocks support HTML, you can insert images by placing standard HTML image tags right in the text block content.
For example, once you have uploaded an image and have its direct URL:
<img src=”https://www.appointmentreminders.com/images/uploads/yourimage.png” alt=”Company Logo” width=”200″>
If you created a shortened URL from the Image Files page, you can use that instead:
<img src=”https://apmt.io/abc123″ alt=”Banner Image”>

You can also control:
Image size (width/height)
Alignment
Alt text (important for accessibility)
Spacing with inline styles or HTML structure
When the email reminder is sent, the recipient will see the image displayed within the message along with the rest of the text block content you defined.
When and Why to Use Images in Your Emails
Images are a powerful tool in your communication strategy. Here are practical reasons to include them in your email reminders:
Branding and Recognition
Including your logo or branded graphics helps recipients instantly recognize who the message is from and reinforces your business identity.
Provide Visual Instructions
Some information is easier to convey visually than through text alone. Examples include:
Maps or directions to a location
Parking instructions
Preparation diagrams
Product or service images that illustrate expectations
Reduce Confusion and Questions
Clear visuals paired with your written message help ensure customers understand important details — reducing follow-up questions and misunderstandings.
Visual elements can make your emails more engaging and memorable. Even simple images break up blocks of text and draw attention to important information.
Reuse Across Reminder Types
Once uploaded, your images are stored and ready to be reused in any text block or email reminder where they’re needed.
