Quick Text – How to send a quick text message to your customers

We have just added a new feature called “Quick Texts”. This new area will allow you to send a quick text message to either all of your customers or a subset of your customers without having to create a reminder type and scheduling it.

To send a quick text, log into your account and click on “Quick Texts” from the main navigation menu. This will take you to a screen where you will see a list of all the quick texts that you have sent out.Quick Text List

Click on “Send Quick Text” to create a new one.

Create Quick Text

In the “Text Message Content” field, type your text message.  It can be up to 160 characters in length.  You cannot use dynamic fields such as Customer Name, Appointment Date and Appointment Time in the quick text.  If you need to use these fields, you will need to create a “Reminder Type” instead.

Next, choose the distribution list to send the quick text to.  By default, you will have a distribution list entitled “All Customers”.  This will send the text message to all of our current customers.

If you only want to send the quick text to a subset of customers, you can create a new distribution list in the “Distribution List” area.

Once you have chosen the distribution list that you want to send to, click “Send Text Message!

You can now see your quick text in the list.

Click on “Reminders” to see the status of your quick texts.
