You’ll also learn how to manage your integration settings, including enabling or disabling reminders, writing customer confirmations back to Jobber, and configuring maintenance reminder intervals.
Most users can complete the setup in just a few minutes.
Step 1: Create an AppointmentReminders.com Premium Account #
Before you can connect Jobber, you’ll need an active Premium AppointmentReminders.com account. The Jobber integration is available exclusively with the Premium plan.
If you don’t already have an account, sign up for a Premium subscription at AppointmentReminders.com. Once your account has been created, log in and continue to the next step to connect your Jobber account.
Step 2: Connect the AppointmentReminders.com App in Jobber #
Log in to your Jobber account and open the App Marketplace. Search for AppointmentReminders.com, then select the app and click Connect.
This will begin the authorization process and allow Jobber to securely share your customer and appointment information with AppointmentReminders.com.
Step 3: Allow Access to Your Jobber Account #
After clicking Connect, Jobber will show a list of permissions requested by AppointmentReminders.com. These permissions allow the integration to read scheduled visits, send reminders to the correct customers, and optionally write confirmations back to Jobber.
AppointmentReminders.com only uses the information needed to provide the integration. It does not process payments, change tax rates, manage employees, or alter your company settings.
Company information and admin settings #
Jobber includes basic company information and tax-rate access under this category.
AppointmentReminders.com may use basic company information to identify and connect the correct Jobber account. We do not change your company settings or tax rates.
Team member information #
This permission allows AppointmentReminders.com to identify the team members assigned to scheduled visits.
Assigned team-member names may be included with appointment information or used to identify who is handling a visit. We do not manage team members, change labor rates, edit addresses, or modify employee information.
Jobber workflow information #
This is the primary permission required for the integration.
AppointmentReminders.com uses this access to:
- Read customer names, phone numbers, and email addresses
- Read jobs and scheduled visits
- Read appointment dates, times, titles, and assigned team members
- Send appointment reminders for upcoming visits
- Send maintenance reminders for completed jobs
- Optionally add a confirmation note to a Jobber job
- Optionally add [CONFIRMED] to a scheduled visit title
AppointmentReminders.com does not create or delete customers, jobs, or scheduled visits.
Financial information #
This permission allows AppointmentReminders.com to read invoice and payment status.
Invoice status is used only to determine whether a completed job qualifies for a maintenance reminder. For example, you may configure the integration to send a future maintenance reminder after a completed and paid job.
AppointmentReminders.com does not:
- Collect or process payments
- View or store credit-card information
- Create or edit invoices
- Issue refunds
- Change payment records
- Access banking information
After reviewing the permissions, click Allow Access to complete the connection. You can disconnect AppointmentReminders.com at any time from Jobber’s App Marketplace.
